So unless you have been living in a cave for the past week, Ike is heading our way. We have been going back and forth about what to do, but ultimately we decided to stay. But no worries, this being Brianne’s first hurricane, I think we have enough bottled water, canned food, and candles to outlast the apocalypse. My parents came today and brought some plywood and we covered all the windows this afternoon, so I guess we are the ones living in the cave now. By the time we were done it was as bright and sunny as could be but once in the house, it might as well have been midnight. Right now it looks like its moving more to the east of us which has delayed us putting our heads between our legs and kissing our butts goodbye.
We will post again so everyone knows we made it. While I was working on the plywood on the windows I heard the digital camera beep so I’m sure some photos might come later, that or a scrapbook…
Welcome to our website! This is our little place for posting what is going on in our lives and to keep in touch with our friends. We met on August 4, 2006 and live in Houston, Texas and enjoy traveling the world together. On October 4, 2008 we got married in Seattle, Washington in a wonderful ceremony in front of our family and friends. Please come back and see what's happening!
