Brianne and Garett

Awe, I got more birthday flowers today in another adorable vase. This set is much like the pink set, only everything is in red instead. The tulips are beautiful and the vase is absolutely stunning; it looks so pretty when the light shines through it. I’m having a great birthday so far!

I have been such a good girl and not opened my birthday presents yet. I’ve been having to stare at them for like six days!

I got a special surprise today, an early birthday present from Garett! These gorgeous flowers and adorable pink vase can now be added to the trip to New York, the full set of golf clubs, golf glove, golf towel, golf balls with my name on them, and the “little things that are still to come” on Monday. I think I might be a little bit spoiled !!!!!!

So last weekend we headed to Austin after I got off work Friday and we stayed with my parents. They live just east of Austin in Elgin and were nice enough to put us up for the weekend.

Saturday I took Brianne through Austin and down to San Marcos to one of the largest outlet malls in the country. She had a wonderful time browsing all the store that we could get through in 4 to 5 hours we spent there. We were suppose to have dinner at the Oasis in Austin (made famous by a Garth Brooks song) but the outdoor seating was all that was open and it was about 50 something degrees so we headed over to the County Line for some BBQ.

Sunday we had a nice lunch at this place in Giddings which is on our way back to Houston that my parents have visited before. It was an interesting combo of buffet Italian food with made to order breakfast which worked well for me, being the breakfast lover I am. We then made our 2 hour journey home.
