Brianne and Garett

Brianne’s good friend from Washington flew into town yesterday to visit for the weekend. That means I now have a lot of free time on my hands. I have been taking advantage of it to do some laundry and clean my apartment.

I did meet up with her and Leslie last night for dinner at one of my favorite restaurants in Houston, Farrago’s. Tonight we are all suppose to go out to Dave & Busters with some of my friends for dinner and some games.

So for Valentine’s Day, I tried to think of a great place to take Bri, but once we got to a few days before and Bri had not fully recovered from being sick, we decided to stay in for the evening. I picked up take out from Lupe Tortilla, which is the place we ate at on our first date. We ate and watched a movie after I opened all my gifts from Bri. She got me delicious cookie cake and a bag of goodies and candy. She also gave me T-shirt from her alma mater of Washington State which I really like.

Bri got her gifts delivered to her at work earlier in the day. I had a dozen pink roses sent to her plus a little pink and brown box that was filled with bubble bath, bath salts, soap, and a little soft teddy bear. The place I ordered it all from decided to ship them separately for some reason, but it was kind of nice because she got the flowers in the morning and then the box of goodies in the afternoon. I did bring her a heart box of chocolates that night also to be traditional. She loved every bit of it!

All told, we had a wonderful Valentine’s Day and I feel so lucky to have been able to spend it with her. I have taught her how she can post now, so I am expecting her first post anytime now, she told me she had started writing it, so be on the look out for that!

Yesterday, Brianne took me out to see the Harlem Globetrotters and we had a wonderful time. She was able to swing some excellent tickets through her work and we had a great view of the court. I never realized they miked-up a player who provides comic relief during the game. I tried to win my $10 back from Brianne that I lost in a previous bet, but she had a feeling the Globetrotters would win too.

After the game we had dinner at Los Tios, a mexican food place in Sugarland. We then hit Target and Best Buy. Brianne was running out of space on her digital camera so she wanted to purchase a new memory card with her Christmas gift card at Best Buy.

Another wonderful day with the most wonderful woman!

This website was created as a place for me and Brianne to post our photos and to catalog our relationship. We have been together for 6 months now and theres no sign of slowing down. Now all I will have to do is to teach Brianne how to post on here to and will be set. She is a much better writer then I am so you will probably enjoy her posts more then mine.
